Welcome to Les Balcons d’Oyster Pond

We, Carine and David PORET, are native of Lorraine, France, and arrived in Saint Martin with our son Thibault in 1999.

We fell in love with this Friendly 2 nationalities island.


We welcome you to Les Balcons d'Oyster Pond where we manage 19 bungalows in a casual and familial ambiance.

A few years later, Margareth joined them in maintaining the bungalows.


In 2017, the major hurricane Irma damaged a large part of the residence, it was time to rebuild.


At the end of 2019, it is with joy that they can welcome back their loyal customers and Claude, their "Belgian - West Indian" friend, joins the team for new adventures.


In 2024, after 24 years, it is time for Carine & David to "hand over the baton" and it is with great pleasure that they leave the management of the residence and their clientele to Claude, always supported by Margareth.
